Amanda Eatwell Portrait and Location Photographer London

I draw inspiration from many areas of life, and really life itself. I see life as an endless journey of discovery, and have been observing humans and their behaviour since childhood: it helps to understand those around me. Self- awareness takes time and practice, but through an interest in practical philosophy, yoga, and inspirational people I am doing my best!

Keeping fit is important to me, and helps maintain a fresh mind and an active body. I recommend it to everyone! I have been a BoxingYoga coach for seven years, and always try to maintain teaching at least one class a week. I have ran some long distance events: forty miles being my peak. It seems to me that we are living in difficult times, and I can’t help but thinking humans are their own worst enemy. That said, they never cease to fascinate me, and my responses to human behaviour switches from joy to despair depending what tales I hear along the way!

I appreciate all artforms and like to write non-fiction. I enjoyed the challenge of being editor of fLIP magazine for two and a half years. In late 2022 I moved south of the river, and find myself in the heart of an area that is undergoing a serious redevelopment phase. That means there are loads of creative people around, and I have taken on a studio at Bow Arts’ Lakeside Studios. We even have the Elizabeth Line…come say Hi!
